Thank you, though I am curious on if that is a inch per spider or not? Would like to know the math on that so I can plan bigger enclosure when they need rehousing.

I started my communal about a year ago with 10 spiders, about 1/4 to 1/2 in DLS in a 32 oz deli cup. just recently rehoused them they were all around 11/2 to 2 1/2 in DLS and they could have probably stayed in the deli cup for a while longer. I have read in a lot of places that you dont want to give them to much space as they may create their own territories and then fight over food or space. that has not been my experience. it seems regardless of the size of their enclosure they are going to all huddle together most of the time. they did as slilngs in the deli cup, and now they do it as subadults in a 3 gallon verticle tank. plenty of room to spread out but they choose not to.
