I am VERY interested in these as a next arboreal tarantula. I would like to know how fast these are and how aggressive/venomous they are. Also, does anybody have any experience keeping them?

I have both. I've had the Lampropelma nigerrimum (sp. Borneo Black) since she was a tiny sling and have always found her to be more likely to run and hide, she's never shown any aggression. My Phormingochilus sp. Rufus seems to be fairly calm and will usually stay still in it's web when disturbed. They can both be fast but then most Ts are but I've never had a threat pose from either of them.

Ok, thanks. Still debating which one. I think I like the L. nigerrimum better though.

I`d choose that one. They`re magnificent when fully grown.

This is my girl now
