Is she killing for fun or just that hungry after molt? Never seen A tarantula eat two at once Before. Once is this just killing what comes by of instincts for food?

Some Ts prefer smaller food items, my Tapi is like that. She kills one 5/8" cricket/roach, holds it under her arm and grabs a second one and then goes back to her dirt curtain hide.

I've had a few instances of a T in premolt that has killed an annoying feeder and not eaten it. That is different. The T is preventing a potential threat before it goes into it's most vulnerable state, it's being proactive.

However, if your T is taking and eating more than one food item try the next larger size; unless it's shy like my Tapi, lol, it might save you from having to monitor multiple food items in it's cage
