Keeping tarantula in pocket

I want to bring my rose tarantula to school. My plan is to sew a large pocket on the inside of one of my jacket, and put him in there. The reason I want to do this is I don't particularly trust he will be safe at home, be that because of my parents, my cat, temperature, etc.. He is use to me handling him, and he doesn't get all stressed out when I do. I won't bring him every day, not at all. Only when it I deem it necessary, which won't be often. My question is, how should I go about this? Are there any materials I should avoid? Will he be okay being snugly put between my body and the jacket for several hours? He is usually asleep/inactive during that time. Thanks in advance.

Very bad idea. I honestly don't think you should even own an animal if you're afraid of your parents causing harm to it. Carrying it around with you is really going to stress the poor thing out. These aren't parakeets or sugar gliders. They are display animals that belong in a terrarium and should be admired from a distance. I seriously can't believe you're even considering doing this...

May be you can put it on top of your head. :D

Kidding aside, I concur with what @Chubbs said, it will be very stressful for the T. It will be much safer if you put its enclosure inside your wardrobe. ;)

Don't be stupid, all it needs is someone to bump into you and you'll have a squashed tarantula to clean out of your pocket.

You have to be Trolling, there's no other explanation other than stupidity, you seriously couldn't of expected to come on a Tarantula forum and expect people to actually give you advice on doing something this crazy, you shouldn't even be handling your T let alone thinking about doing this......
