New to the hobby. Bought a Arizona blonde that has been super docile. Had to change its enclosure and let it crawl on my hand and it just sat like a rock, magical feeling. I was super nervous since im new but i was willing to risk a bite to help rehome the little guy.

For future reference, most members (regardless of forum) do not recommend handling, as there is always the possibility of the tarantula turning on the jets which could lead to fall. A catch cup, paint brush and or a straw are vital.

I like this idea, but I feel it's best if the old enclosure fits in the new one.

I know its shunned upon but he crawled in my hand openly and i was on the floor switching enclosure. I did my research for weeks before getting my T :)

I got a deal, got an Arizona Blonde juvenile, Pink toe Juvenille, and a sling curly hair for around $50. Sorry would post accurate names but i suck at spelling them haha.
I still can't spell pterinochilus murinus, and it took me 3 weeks to learn how to spell harpactira pulchirpes. Sweet Jesus, Latin. I got my first T's a week ago.

Lol, if you get to look at it. I have two pet holes lol. Check out haploclastus devamatha, and cyriopogopus sp. Hati hati.

A tip for those who have problems spelling species names I still use copy and paste a lot for them to make sure I get the spelling right. I find just seeing those names written correctly helps remember their spellings.
