So since yesterday, my stripe knee has been "chilling" on it's hide. Like for months its always basically stayed in it's hide and has only ever come out at night. But now it is just literally hanging out in too and looks scared-ish? Thoughts?

Mine come out when they get hungry. When was the last time you fed? When was the last time he/she molted?

Do you feed crickets? If you offered food, but the spider didn't eat because it was in pre-molt, the crickets would hide down in the only dark place in the enclosure. You might want to check inside the spider's usual lair to see if there is anything in there "bugging" him/her.
