Hello fellow lovers of beautiful creepy crawlies! My name is Tyla, I love in Arizona. We have 2 lovely ladies right now. Quiyl, she is a Tliltocatl albopilosus (previously Brachypelma albopilosum) / Honduran Curly Hair and Nyx, a Avicularia avicularia / Guyana Pink Toe. Quiyl is going on 4+ years old and Nyx just turned 1.
My others were Aphonopelma chalcodes / Desert Blondes, Charlie and Jasmine. When Charlie was 13 years old Jasmine (12 years old) ate him. Somehow their shared 2 level 1 door dwelling was opened. I was absolutely crushed, bawled for a day and then some. Jasmine was rehomed (we were not friends anymore). It was less than a year before my need for a tarantula was back. My husband got me Quiyl for Christmas. Best gift ever!!
