Hello guys!

So I found this beautifull tarantula in my bedroom 2 days ago. I really want to keep it since I wanted to have one since I was a kid. But I got a problem, I dont know how to feed it... I was watching some youtube videos telling how to feed it but I didnt found any teaching how to feed a small one... I'm trying to get some flies but its kinda hard to put it in the enclouser. So i'm trying to find another way to feed it. Can you guys help me?

ps: I'm from brazil and there is no petshop who sells food for tarantulas... :( I need to make\hunt my own...

Anyway I dont even know if it is a tarantula, it just look like one. I'll upload some pictures here so you guys can tell me what u think. Feel free to ask for more pictures if you want.

For feeding you could feed the leg of a large cricket. Or if you have any way to get pin head or extra small cricket. And always with feeding remove un eaten food after 24 hour. with one that small i would say watch it and if it doesnt eat in take it out. To avoid and harm the cricket could do to the spider. There are many other thing you could feed it crickets are just what I use.

You think it can eat ants?
Don't introduce ants to a T's cage! Tarantulas abhor ants because in the wild they are capable of completely taking over their burrows. It's possible it could happen in captivity, too. Pinhead, or baby, crickets are a good food source for small spiders.

We breed our own cockroaches. Just put in couple of egg containers in a plastic container where you are going to keep your roaches. give them some dog or cat pellets and some apples, oranges or any fruit containing vitamin C. they wil breed and you will have different sized cockroaches to feed your T. meal worms also work well with small T's and if you are afraid of the worm being to big or hurting your tiny T just chop of its head. o_O
