My escapee. I noticed Saturday afternoon that the lid to Balthazzar's hadn't been shut properly from the night before. However, I had looked in at him on Sat morning. At some point I left the door to his location open. Knowing Chaetopelma olivaceum are burrowers, and his having webbed a section of his tree up, I checked all of my area in the house, but saw no sign so I figured he had burrowed and thought nothing of it. Today as I was looking for a stuffed bear I can't find (its small round ball shaped one), I moved some stuff from under and just looked through the pajama pants for him, and then by chance happened to move the keyboard thats under my dresser (my mom hid it on my brother up there) and lo and behold:

I indeed found him, He's a bit dehydrated, but none the worse for wear.

Indeed! I was worried he'd managed to somehow make it down stairs to the main house, but nope just being super stealthy,

They are so fast. Like I have Taps..and he might be faster than them...or more active. He's my challenging t thus far.
