Greetings tarantula lovers!
I used to be around here around 9-10 years ago when I "rescued" a 7-legged adult G.Rosie named Ishi (means "rock" in Japanese). I even posted a step-by-step series of pics of her molting. Looks like it's gone because it's past the earliest date on the Rosie thread. Understandable! Gotta keep tha info current! Found my way back here after she passed (she'd been with me 10 years or so & was an adult when she came to me so I figure it was old age as she'd been slowing down for a while) & my wonderful Hubby blessed me with a juvenile A.Avic he named Sascha to ease my sadness. She's (?) my first arboreal T so I figured I should get my reading on around here so I can make sure I to hook her up with the best environment & care. Glad y'all are still here!
Pics are of my new bebe Sascha, one of the last pics of Ishi before she passed, my green anole Bait (that name is a story for another time- lol) & my big fuzzy, Crooklyn the cat.

Aww! Thank you, both for the condolences & the kitty complements.
Ishi will def be missed. Prolly sounds weird (well mebbe not here because this is a place where I'm surrounded by other skitter-critter lovers) but getting to sit quietly & watch her molt & pop out a brand new mini-leg where previously she had only had a little socket was an epic experience. & I feel blessed to have been able to share 10 years with her.
Crooklyn just passed her 12th birthday in November & I am treasuring every moment we have left to spend together. She's my best friend.
