How to Start online buying/selling/trading through classifieds

Ive been an arachnoculturist for like 6 or 7 years now . I've only recently started buying/selling/trading online. Most of the hindrance was my total lack of knowledge of how it all worked.Im still really not that savvy .It Probably seems simple to most people but it was complicated to me starting out. I shunned the internet most of my life except to extract information from it. But a year after i started collecting i obviously ended up with mm's here and there. After years of watching my boyz die without fulfilling their purpose I finally got sick of it. Jumped in to the forums ,figured out how to post in classifieds, t.o.s., reviews&reports page, paypal/payment ,shipping, packing for shipment and there's probably a lot more. Anyways I think there should be some sort of resource of information about all that somewhere maybe? How'd you get started using online classifieds? Was it hard or did you just already know how it worked? Did you have to learn a whole bunch of new stuff like me?

A guide to get people started is actually a good idea. The information is all out there, of course, but putting it all in one place would probably help new people quite a bit. Why not make one, @Solsurfer ? There's a few folks on here that would have some valuable insights. I mostly just bought, most of my selling was to friends and family. I did notice early on that you find the best deals in classifieds, from private sellers, rather than online "stores".

There are some rules for selling in the Forum Classifieds (see Marketplace Rules) and Casey K is very good about sticking to the rules in her ads so it may be a good idea to look at some of her sales threads.

Haha maybe someday. I definitely don't know what I'm doing I just started like the middle of this summer .It was a crash course. I know there are some old timers that know some stuff and some things . I mean yeah there's info out there but all the dots aren't connected like you said. The first time I sold one I just winged it but I obviously made mistakes. I'm lucky anyone I've dealt with thus far have been honorable and friendly. I just wanted to make the point that 20 or so mm's died when someone probably was looking for them because I'm basically a caveman and not good with modern things. Like that thing you said in the crossbreeding thread about just shipping those t's on the dl. I never would have known that was an excepted view in the hobby. I just had to probe with a legitimate question and you went right ahead and said what I was sort of thinking. Honestly I haven't bought from anyone yet although I am going to soon. It's nice to help other people support the tarantulaholism.

Ok noted I will look at them. Yes I went through that learning curve on ab .read the rules many times over. Part of my hesitation was not being sure i was abiding by all the rules. I gleaned other sellers tos and noticed how variable they were no 2 are the same. So I mottled my tos from other peoples.

I think the TOS is variable, depending on the seller and of course the T. It's difficult to give Live Arrival Guarantee on something like an MM.
