I just sat here with a hunk of corkbark,
carving out tiny mini hides to put over the new sling burrow starts ...
when they probably won't use them anyway...
.and they probably wont even be here till tuesday or wednesday.....

I love that we share the weirdness,

I realize I'm doing it a bit early, but it pleases me to know that its ready for when they get here ^^
(plus the dollar store had those perfect little condiment containers, and all
five fit neatly in a glad container so moving them around will be easier while they are small )

I didn't even think about going to the dollar store- I went to Albertsons and bought a big ol cheese puff container and used it form my Avic and it is the cheapest and hands down most beautiful of my set ups... I need to remember to look at places like the dollar store.

I ran in for Ibuprofen and they were on an end cap,
6 of them for a dollar, called them salad dressing containers. well worth a dollar!
I had my A.avic in a cheese ball container
I just, as in yesterday, redid a sterilite box for her, came out cute ($2.75)

I've always done them way ahead of time, usually way before I even make the order.

I always get them ready well before the Ts arrive so that I can warm the substrate up a bit for them and yes, I too spend ages cutting up cork bark for hides.

I got tarantulas from Anastasia with little tarantula faces drawn on the vials and it inspired me. There isn't enough ventilation in those for living in, but they make good shipping containers.

I just prepped my enclos yesterday morning too. And my Ts will be coming next Wednesday still. It's my way of announcing to my wife that Ts are coming.

The lids already got the dates and names and all.

I've had the enclosure for my son's Genic ready to go since Thursday night. I came home that evening I ordered them and set it up. Since then, my son has changed it once. Then i went back and changed the setup again. Then this morning when I was redoing it once again, i pressed on the substrate near the end and the side cracked. Seems there was a small flaw in the plastic, must have gotten dropped or something. So now i get to run to the lps tomorrow to get another mini kritter keeper so i can redo the enclosure yet again

@Kymura you got 5 more? didn't you just get in 6 a couple weeks ago? lol My son is trying to talk me into 2 more if they give us the holiday bonus this year. I keep adding and removing a.avic from my cart and he's changing his wishlist every day lol I told him we have to stop at 8 if we get 8 and then no more until summer.

Nono, six new in total 10, the 6th isnt shipped as yet.. Most of them slings, 5 are .25 of an inch so all together they 'might' make one small T ;P
