How often do spiderlings molt?

Hey!
I wonder how often spiderlings molt.
I've got a Brachypelma boehmei spiderling and it refuses food and lay still most of the time.
It also has a bald spot but it's not dark like i've heard it usually is when it's in pre molt.
It's about 2cm right now

Thank you!

Dave

I have 5 spiderlings they usually molt once every month and a half the bigger they have gotten the longer between molts. One of curly hairs and my obt are up next. Both refuse food and are starting to be more in the open

Me too, am interested with slings and their species and their molting schedule while in your care. :D

Depends on the species, the gender of the spider, the size, the temperature it's being kept at, how often it's being fed, etc. Even then you'll still get some individuals of the same species that grow faster than others.

Brachypelmas are notoriously slow growers, which isn't a bad thing since they have some of the longest life spans of any genus. They take their time and that's for sure

What if your brachy is a voracious eater, does this in any way affect their life span?

Of course, the more they eat the faster they grow. Brachys are still slow growers regardless though.
