It will take a while for it to settle. Did the seller not tell you what species it is?

When my A. versicolor molted, I could notice even after the second day that her fangs were not yet fully hardened (they had a pale color and looked soft).
I'm not an expert as I've only had one T so far, but from my experience I can tell they do need a bit of time to become active again.

It's very difficult to identify a tarantula sling as many look so similar. If the seller has told you it's a Theraphosa blondi I'd treat it as that for now.Moulting and a move to a new home are both stressing for them, just feed every 3-4 days and if it doesn't eat remove the food after 24 hours. It will eat when it's ready.

It may well have happened when it moulted but don't worry it will grow a new leg in a moult or 2 and it won't affect the T at all.

also don't feed it for at least a week after a molt. You have to let the fangs harden. they'll go from white fresh after the molt and darken to black when they can be fed again. As your T grows it will take longer for it to harden after a molt also.

Research, educate yourself, know what your getting and getting into before you purchase.
Don't feed it till the fangs are black. Then leave the food for a few hours remove if she doesn't eat it. Keep her water dish full, leave it alone if it's burrowed.
No heat mats. The leg will grow back after molting a time or two.

It'll take at least a week for it to want to eat. Maybe 2 weeks. I offer pre killed food to them after a molt, so the Ts first meal isn't running away from it. The T can easily eat the pre killed prey then when it wants. After I see it has eaten it, I immediately offer live prey so it can bulk up a little.
Every Brachypelma albopilosum ( Honduran curly hair) I've had looked 100% definately just like that, so Again, that's my guess.

Ditto that. Looks just like Moe and Missingno I just posted in my pic thread.
