i usually do a play on words, or something with the location where the T is from to steal @Enn49 idea cause i'm like that ;)

My first thought, since the versicolor change color every molt as they grow is to call it Joe, after Joseph and his coat of many colors. Geographical names could be Luca from the Lucayan Archipelago or Nevis from Nevis Island.

For your anax you could swap it, call it Xana.

My versi is called Jazz after the Haitian jazz musician Jazz Guignard (Haiti being one of the Antilles) but I like your choices.

I named my first one "Delilah," but it turned out to be a male. He kept the name, and was, I think, more popular with my friends because of it. There's something about a pink and purple and green and burgundy spider with an equally flamboyant name that appeals to people. I gave slings to 2 friends, and they named them Vera and Violet.

I have a list of all the unisex names that I could find - including place names of the countries that my spider comes from. One of the names on my list, that I am dying to use (maybe for my E. campestratus), is Calypso. I think it is a cool name for a spider and conjures up a colourful look in my mind. :)

I LOVE that, I may go with Kalipso so I'm not quite stealing it :p
What about my LBJ guys and gals?

I am eventually going to get my OBT, its name will be Tacibana, wild orange in Japanese

I'm stuck on my brother/sister pair of G. pulchripes. I am thinking of going with Phoebe and Holden, but I love Portia/Brutus and Victoria/Albert too - even though they were married couples and not brother/sister like Phoebe/Holden.

I have a few choice names for a couple of mine that are bitey, but I think of all of them by their proper names, if I have more then one of a species they get a number or "big genic, little genic, big gbb, little gbb." How bout Lyndon B Johnson for the Texas spider? LBJ. Texas vice prez that took over when Kennedy was murdered.

I did a smilirar thing with my genic. I called mine Genie as a play on the Geniculata name so the small genic was called teanie Genie ☺
