Hello,
My name is Karel and I am from Belgium.
I am brand new to the Tarantula-hobby.

Up until now I am mainly into aquariums.

After doing a little research I was thinking to buy a Acanthoscurria geniculata spiderling online.
I already purchased a first housing for it at Amazon.
I would use cocofiber and/or sphagnummoss as a substrate.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Hey Karel and welcome to the addict- I MEAN HOBBY I meant hobby! Anyway great choice of a tarantula! They grow pretty big and a lot of them are fairly docile if you have any questions just post them here, me and the other members will be happy to answer them. Welcome to the hobby and welcome to the forums

I use a mix of coco coir and clean topsoil (not compost) for my terrestrial Ts. I find that it holds its shape a little better so better for anything that burrows. It also helps it go further and last longer when I buy it since top soil is cheap.
