Hello everyone. I’m new to keeping Ts, but not spiders, I’ve had jumping spiders and widows in the past. I fell in love with the Avicularia species and just got my first A. Avicularia. Her name is Guyana and is currently in a 6x6x10 inch bioactive enclosure with ventilation on three sides and top.

Welcome! Just want to let you know that this species does best with dry sub and a water dish.

Thank you. I appreciate your input. I’ve done a lot of research and have checked with multiple sources, including The Biodude and The tarantula Collective(both have used bioactive for Avicularia) and feel comfortable with the amount of ventilation. Pothos are also a plant that needs very little water and sunlight.
