Congrats! Great spider. I raised one from a 3/8” sling to a 2” mature male in just a couple of years (really wish he would have turned out female because they are adorable). So here’s what I got for you; first, they are FAST. They’re not quite teleporters but they get where they’re going and don’t make a lot of stops along the way. Second, great eaters. I don’t ever recall mine refusing a meal. Excellent feeding response. Third, I kept one half of the substrate wet (not soaking) and the other dry. He did alternate between sides so he seemed to appreciate both depending how he was feeling that day. They’re a decent webber, not like an OBT or GBB but nice little structures. He burrowed as a sling but grew out of that as he got older. Overall an A+ tarantula that i’m sure you will love. Lastly i’ll just leave this here from when he was a juvenile. Enjoy!
