How often are you feeding? I keep C. minax which is basically the same spider. Mine usually comes out about every night about 1am. Buy a camera, you kight be surprised how often its out or gets right at the edge of its burrow.Vietnamese Earth Tiger tarantula is so mean and stays buried until I check on it. It comes out and goes into full attack pose and strikes. Rarely eats and has big adult dubia in cage.
Not to discourage at all, but the only videos I’ve seen where people get bit, they were doing exactly what you are. I personally enjoy watching because its funny. Just thought I’d pass that along. Some do jump/leap attack when they get tired of bluffing.Let's see if this works
It def.means business that's for sure. Lmao big tough Beautiful T. I've seen videos of these guys, they have quite the attitude for sure and big ol fangs to back that up with. I'm not experienced enough to have one of these yet, although, I originally started out with a colbalt blue t, H.lividium possibly, many years ago when I knew nothing about caring for T's.For real, how long are those fangs?
Every other week or so when I feed my other T's something goes in cage. I have adult dubia and lobster roaches and superworms for my T's and chameleon. I may even put crickets in there. How often are you feeding? I keep C. minax which is basically the same spider. Mine usually comes out about every night about 1am.
