Hey guys I was wondering is the h maculata moisture dependant?

I keep mine on dry substrate. Every once in a while Ill lightly moisten it but let it completely dry out. I do keep a water bowl available at all times.

Ok cool. Right now it's in a small sling enclosure. It burrys itself down right now but I'll spray water in there every few days.

H maculata is an old world arboreal. Give it a leaning cork bark, plants and leaves. It won't burrow much if it has hide spots.

Also, make sure it always has access to clean, fresh water.
