Got a new tarantula

I just recently bought at a reptile expo a Mexican red knee sling, the 3rd tarantula in my collection. I've been wanting a red knee for yrs and so excited I finally got one. Can't wait to see this baby grow!!! 20190511_154536.jpg

Congratulations on your new addition! a fantastic choice...but yes it will be years before it reaches adulthood....:)
@Rs50matt The Brachys take a very long time as you know to grow(well most brachys) but not as long as your H.chilensis!:D

Jokes on you. My chilensis is shrinking not growing . Benjamin button of the T world ;)

Mine is almost 3 years old and just now starting to show red (more like pink) on the legs. Just molted and molt measured at 2". Hoping mine's a female too. Will be asking the experts as soon as I get a good picture.
