Getting conflicting answers

is this a male or female? It does have a little flap that I can move back and forth with a tooth pic but one person says female and another male. Help!!!

It's female. The spermathecae and uterus externus are folded down into the bursa copulatrix by the look of the pic. Brachypelma species?

Yes it's a curly hair. The one person said they couldn't see the spermathecae and said it was a male.

Thought so. As I said the spermathecae are folded over into the bursa copulatrix so they are upside down which is probably why they couldn't see them.

Thank u so much,it's still hard for me to tell the sex on tarantulas, I was going by the little flap only and my intuition was right on being a female

You are doing good! It will get easier for you to see the more you look at skins.

That's aweaome,now I have 3 out of 4 T's that are female. The 4th one is to young to tell yet.

I never had one that long, but you can expect about 20 years...

Lol I do have an albopilosum, that's one that was in question, I also have an avic,vagans,and last but not least hamorii, I've been wanting a hamorii for ever and picked up this sling.
