Ah. Glad to know nothing is wrong. I bought my G. rosea in 1998 almost full grown, so no idea how she was as a sling. The only other grammostolas I've had are the G. pulchripes, both slings, and they seem to grow fairly fast.
I didn't find out until bedtime last night. I am stuck at work today. I'll try to take one tonight.Congrats!!

Congrats. Just found mine moulting today too. Really dug itself into s tight corner though so fingers crossed comes out ok. Pic below

another escape?
I know. I am slacking.....lol. totally surprised that such a big spider could escape. I had a feeding flap that I had an extra screw attached so that there would be no escapes. Never once did I think leaving it open and a big 8 inch geniculata could hang upside down, make its way to the centre of the tank, squeeze through the flap, climb down the racking past all the other Ts and then set up home under my bed. But she did!!!!!another escape?

Just glad I didn't roll over in bed and crush her! Maybe she just wanted a snuggle.....ha ha

My son happened to be holding the enclosure on his lap at the time. I was quite impressed the enclosure and T didn't go flying lol it made both of us jump at his sudden burst of speed. never seen him move that fast before.
