I left for half a day (my friend's bridal shower). And came home to this.
I never saw it doing this, not even after I came home when I left for 5 days a week.
I know its probably not a big deal for burrower-owners as your burrowers was, well, burrow themselves.
But me, as a new owner who rarely seen my new pet, its like "WOW FINALLLLLY IT CAME OUT, WOWOWOWOWOOOOWWW"....
It was always stay down there. I can see it scurry down, but never at the top of the hole.

Silly me, but it makes me happy. Hahaha...

It's always a joy to see even a glimpse of the burrowers. You do get used to not seeing certain ones but the pleasure they give when they appear is all the greater and never diminishes.

Its a video on it's eating time. Its also the first time the sling came out to eat quite soon. Usually it took around 1 hour or so. And I already feed it 2 dead-ish worms yesterday.
I smashed the worm's head to make sure it wont burrow. I hate it when it happens. :(

How to make it took the second worm?
I am not sure it realize there's a second worm. Should I just drop it inside the hole or what. I scratch the web to attract the sling 15 mins earlier. It only took one.

If you fed it 2 yesterday and 1 today it probably won't eat the other so I would remove it. It's never a good idea to drop food down their hole in case they are moulting, if the T is hungry it will come out for the food.

Both of the worms are dead before I threw them in.. But I will remove it in case of mold/fungus...
Thanks for reminding me.
And as I was a naughty and too-curious, I picked the container from the waterdish to check, it releases the eaten worm.
Sigh.... Bad bad me.. :v
I hope it will continue eating the worm.

sometimes they'll go back to eat the worm, other times they drop it and leave it alone if you startled them enough. I think it's a flight response, leave the food there to distract the larger predator ;)

That's cool I used to always worry about my sling. He would disappear for a month.I still only see him about once a week.I always feel he is just a cool little guy that for the time hides out.But I have learned that's how our T's can be.And usually they are doing just fine.

Naughty me. XD XD
I want to remove the leftover but I found that the second worm was missing after around 30 mins and my T was ..well.. moving around down there with the worms.
In the morning I saw one of the worm was still with the T. So I thought it was eating slowly..
I do hope the T finished the worm, I don't want the worm got mold/fungus down there. It will be hard to clean... XD

Yes yes, true.. I just hope it was OK down there because I can't see nothing to know if something was wrong. And everytime I came home on weekend (after 5 days away), I was always wary and nervous to find out about it.
But everytime I saw the soil was messed up, I feel calmer because I know that The T have enough energy to re-decorate its house. And all is well. Lolz.
