Had my B vagans female leave through an unclosed feeding port. Found her next morning on bathroom wall while taking a morning piss. She was on the wall in front of me, where I was going to place my hand. Ran her onto my hand, put her back, np. Very underrated and low priced Brachy..they look evil af when they mature, but they aren't, of course. They seem to grow faster and get bigger than most Brachys.

Never had a escape, knocking on wood as i say that lol but i did let my Psalmopoeus Pulcher out by mistake, only for a few minutes though, i thought it escaped but in the end almost let it go on my own. Other wise they don't get out unless i let them out;)

I've had a few attempted escapes but my most memorable is probably my Stromatopelma calceatum MM and I still don't know how he did it.
I was on my way to bed one night when my son shouted telling me I had a T on the loose. I'd checked most of my Ts earlier in the evening so my 1st thought was that it must be a house spider. Imagine my surprise to find my adult S.calc up the wall at the opposite end of the room to his container. Luckily he was easy to catch and soon back in his container.
The puzzle was and still is how he got out. His container had a guillotine style door which is impossible to leave open and it was 2 days since I'd opened it to top his water up.

The closest thing I had to an escape was when I was unpacking my I. mira that ran laps around me instead of going into its vial. Took about 15 minutes, but I eventually it went in.
