Hey guys lately I noticed my spider has been spending a lot of time "sitting", she rests her sternum and abdomen on the ground entirely for long periods of time(just sitting around being a pet rock, as they do) I'm just wondering if this is normal or if this might be a sign somethings wrong(if they usually hold themselves up all the time she's probably sick, ya know?)

Most of what tarantulas do, actually, is just sit. They are sedentary creatures. A tarantula that constantly holds itself up (standing on its "tippy-toes", so to speak) most likely dislikes its substrate.

Ts do a lot of sitting (and even standing) positions. Honestly, i don't like how they look after capturing their prey. Just looks funny to me. I love them when they just sit out in the open and spread their legs wide in all their majesty

i like the way the look after catching prey because they're so active, they stand up all big and do stuff with their front feelers and wriggle their fangs and walk around :D
