Hello, I have a G.rosea. for about 15 years and she recently lost some blood about 3 months ago. She got one of her claws stuck on those mesh tank lids and I panicked and used nu skin to stop the bleeding since then her abdomen has shrunk significantly and she can't really walk but she can rock side to side violently. Also refuses to eat. I've tried ICU a few times but nothing seems to help.. ( plastic pint with wet papertowels) any help would be appreciated.. Last molt was a year ago at this time. 10 gal tank 60-70 degrees Thank you

Put her face in a shallow water dish. Keep her book lungs dry. She doesn't look too bad but the behavior is a little concerning.

Oh, I just saw the temps. Warm her up a bit maybe. Those are ok winter temps for that species if you're cooling her to breed, but in her old age you might want to let her retire to suitable Florida-esque temperatures. Like a human old lady :p

I have heard that nu-skin is safe to use with them - especially on a joint. Is that not the case? She looks pretty good to me, but that rocking violently bit is very concerning.

What part of the tarantula was injured? At the claw or the joint? She may be trying to remove the leg..possibly. At any rate, please keep us updated, this kind of information is useful. I hope she casts it off and improves.
