Those pulchripes will surprise you with their growth rate...definitely un-grammastola like ;)
I have 5 Heterometrus cyaneus coming today, and 2 B jacksoni and 6 Centroides gracilis coming next week :D

yeah, that's why my local tarantula hobbyist recommend me to get those, and he gave me five free slings to start my tarantula hobbyist, i ended up bought three more from him and more slings from online.

those Heterometrus cyaneus, i've been interested in these scorpions. nice nice. i only have 3 Pandius cavimanus and 2 Heterometrus sp. (longimanus or spinfier), i suspect it is H. spinifer.

H. cyaneus
and swammerdami (since Pandius imperator are harder to get now.) are ones i want, few fat-tails. how many scorpions you got?

Scorpions are possibly next on my list, got a 29 gallon tank, few decorations and some of the excavator clay so far,
got to get the heat source, sand and a cover. I'm very jealous of those of you who live where there are actual things like T's and scorps around ^^

I've yet to have a death (knock on wood) and i'm sure that each of us has their own way of dealing with them, but I'm curious after reading these unfortunate threads what everyone does with their dead?

I bury mine in a plant pot outside the front door.

I have them in a covered plastic cup together with the molts. It didn't occur to me to discard them. I got three in there. :(

Errr...this will sound callous I suppose..I flush mine..but if it matters, I think of my corpse as an earthly shell to be cremated when I die..if there was a toilet big enough I really wouldn't care if you flushed me. I'd be dead..my soul would already be trying to breed a spider with a scorpion in heaven. Or Valhalla, whichever you prefer. I would call them sporpians.. Or Scoiders.

Well I have the 5 H cyaneus, the S mesaenea dune scorp right now, and 6 C gracilis and 2 B jacksoni coming. I really just want R junceus, for now, and down the road I'll be looking at some Hottentotta and Parabuthus. Hopefully I got all the unfamiliar names right. I'll be collecting some native Centruroides as well. I like the bark Scorpion sp because they do well communally and they're active. Plus I've been stung by them so many times I just get slight buzz now. :p

Scoiders is my vote :) not cold or callous, since i rent i won't be putting them in a pot like @Enn49 , which is a great idea, or burying them in the back yard like we did our dogs as i was growing up. I couldn't toss them in the trash either, i enjoy and respect them to much. I'll probably flush them if i have any deaths before i can get my own place. After (or if ever) I do buy a house then i'll bury them, and probably steal the flower pot idea ;)
