I'm a first time tarantula owner of a Rose hair. I've had her around 2 years and I think she was around 6 months to a year when I got her.
So I came home from work two days ago and noticed the lid was an inch open and the interior all messed up.
My cat was looking guilty on the bed. I think she stuck her arm in and took a swipe at my spider. She looks to have a cut on her back. It seemed to have a drop of liquid, but that has gone away and she doesn't seem to be bleeding. However for the last two days she seems to have a hard time walking and keeps curling her legs under her. She can't walk much without stopping and is just laying down most the time. However she did just walk over to the water dish and is sitting normal now. I am worried she is going to die. What do I do? Help me?

What's a 'Rose hair'? A Chilean Rose (Grammastola rosea)?

If the cut is not bleeding here's not much you can do other than make sure she has access to water and feed as normal.

Also get a better enclosure that's cat-proof.

Hope your T is getting stronger. Yes as Will says, water is a must. Feed as normal but remove prey if not eaten. Do you have any pictures you can share of any injuries, stance etc as that may help. If there is any leakage cornflour can be applied as this helps to stem the flow. Do not use super glue (worked out very bad for me on an injured Poecilotheria metallica). Fingers crossed for you.

That could be bad :( depends where "on her back" refers to. If it's the abdomen, the heart runs down the center at the top from front to back. If it's the carapace it might have just hit the venom gland, assuming on both if it pierced through the exoskeleton.

Hopefully it's just a scratch and the little guy/girl is just taking it easy and recovering.

I do mean abdomen. It's at the top right side, not down the middle though.

Agree. Seeing the injury would be helpful. Sorry it got hurt.
It's on the top right side. It's the little black area.

I'm so worried. It's on the abdomen to the top right.
