Here's katrina, my g.Rosea which i have owned for 2 months now. She just recently started doing this about a week or so ago. I read up and found about Dyskintic Syndrome. Could it be Dks, or is it stress, pre-molt, ect? I removed her wood hide incase it was hurting her. Is there anything i can do for her? She's my first tarantula, and i love her so much, i hate to see her like this. (I will not be freezing her, ect. She will have to die naturally if she does.) She hasnt eatin in 2 weeks since she is in pre-molt. Her substrate is Eco-Earth.

Do you ow dogs or cats? If so what kind of tick and flea treatment do you use on them? Some believe it's linked to chemicals in tick and flea drops and powders.
I have 2 dogs, i rarely pet them though (cat person). I can think of a few things, garden pesticides ect, cleaning sprays, my house was sprayed a month and a half or so bac, i usually diddnt have the habit of washing my hands before holding her. Do you think she has DKS? She can walk around on her own, mostly, but she was acting drunk and clumsy when i was holding her a few hours ago. She just raises her legs up high.

DKS is likely what your T has. From what I've read it usually leads to death. My Euathlus species (my avatar picture) has been displaying these symptoms for several weeks and she is not eating. Oddly enough I owned her for two months too before she showed signs of it and that seems to be a common occurrence. None of my other 6 T's have it and I've never had one get it in the past. The outcome does not look good.
