Checking on a T

P. irminia has been MIA for around 10 days, no sign of movement from within her dirt curtain when I move the deli cup enclosure.
In the past, I have seen movement in there.

It was suggested to me to "check" on the T - I see no way of doing that without upsetting her dirt curtain hide...

If she has already molted, then this is maybe a good rehousing opportunity, but I will need to damage if not destroy her dirt curtain hide to "check on her" - and if she is holed up in premolt and I wreck her hide, then what?

How do I not make things worse in the spirit of making sure everything is okay?

Should I just wait some more?

I would wait and rehouse her when she is back out and about. Always be on the safe side.

As slings...tight quarters aren't a bad thing. They tend to hide alot until they get some size to them. Check at night it the dark with a red light...you might see it out.

I agree with @Arachnoclown and @menavodi good advice from both.. I did reply on your thread about your P. Irminia ( don't know if you saw it) they seem to always be out more as they get bigger.. Im sure she is just fine

I just sprayed the inside of the enclosure and saw movement from within the dirt curtain.
I will wait it out, literally
