For those of you who are starting out and lack some of the equipment a more experienced keeper has you can put the crickets in the fridge for a few minutes, it slows them down enough for you to be able to pick them up with your fingers and by the time you are about to drop them in the en-closer the warmth from your fingers has got them ready to run(always exciting watching dinner time :D:) ) **Disclaimer :p every fridge and region is different, keep a close eye on how long it will take with your fridge. **Freezers are not recommended by my experience/experiments. lol!
