Thanks guys. They were sold to me as 3-4" unsexed. One is smaller than the other and both are about 3 years old.
Their enclosures were horrid - multiple moults, screen lids and no substrate. Bone dry water dishes and dead prey everywhere. I bet that their owner was not comfortable doing maintenance because of their speed. Although, he did have 12" tongs and the enclosures were very high, so I think it was just something else. They didn't bolt around until I was getting them from the catch cup to the new enclosure. Hopefully they will calm down a bit when they get comfortable.
