So i recently got my first T, i put it in it's enclosure a few days ago. It is still just about an inch big. It made a web and has just been staying in the same spot not moving ever since it got in the enclosure. I'm not sure if it has eaten. I'm probably asking a really dumb question but i'm new ;)

My A. versicolor was about .5-.75" when I first got her, and she quickly webbed up a little funnel web in the corner of her enclosure between the cork bark and the side of her cage. She continued to beef up the webbing in this area as she grew and I rarely caught her venturing out. When I fed her, I would use tweezers to drop the prey items at the opening of her web, and she'd snatch them up pretty quickly. The original sling enclosure I used for her didn't allow for a water dish, so I would used a eyedropper to add water to her web once or twice a week or spray the base of the web. The trick with these guys is plenty of ventilation and not to worry about the humidity. Although at first I would moisten one corner of the substrate in her enclosure, I stopped worrying about it.

This was one of my favorite species to watch grow up from a sling. The color changes they go through are amazing! :)
