After almost two weeks after her molt, plus the notorious eating habits of the N. Coloratovillosus I was starting to get worried when she wasn't eating. But sure enough, I threw a cricket in her hide this morning and she snapped it right up! This T daddy is relieved. :)

Hi Rbales427..
My female B.Emilia hasn't eaten for 7 weeks in my care and haven't seen much of her at all until the other night. She came out and sat near her water bowl. This isn't behavoir ive seen in her before so I fed her a cricket and she jumped ! Half her own body lenght up the side of the enclosure to grab the cricket . I was delighted to see her feed and also the technique see displayed!!!

Congrats on the feeding !!

I remember reading the Colorato had aggressive eating habits, but I never realized it until I saw her eat! She makes my Rosea look like a bunny rabbit!

I have had my greatest eater do this after molting my Obt didn't eat for almost two weeks. Some of the best ways to get them back into shape after molting is giving them easier access to water. They tend to lose a lot of weight and energy from molting sometimes the water really helps.

Thanks for the tip! Anything to help my T through that process is helpful, especially since she is a supposed fast grower.
