So, my Brachypelma Vagans finally molted 3 days ago. He did this in his hidey hole. I'm now worried that he is too big to get back out. Should I start to gently widen his entrance or leave him to do it?
I would have panicked too! Bless. Never thought I would be this way about T's but they are my babies.
i just noticed this last night with my B. vagans. he's been hollowing out the corner of the enclosure more and has a nice black spot on his abdomen.I feel the same as I've always been scared of spiders. I do find though that many will extend their burrows before they moult, often a clue to an imminent moult.
