The 55 gallon tank mentioned would be more appropriate for a communal..apparently a single whip needs a ten gallon on end..so, I'll have to rush to make something tomorrow before work...I have the tanks, but I don't like the idea of using un-ventilated 10 gallon fish tanks, because they need moisture, etc etc.. so I'll have to go buy plastic in the AM, drill vents, hot glue cork and rocks... I should have gotten the book. By the way, these are much more active then spiders. They are extremely interesting to watch, they clean themselves a lot, and explore..very interesting little guys. I could almost swear they watch me too..eyesight seems to be pretty decent for an arachnid. The big female definitely just reacted to me moving my arm, and turned her body with the movement. She's 6 feet away, and I'm not casting a shadow in that direction.
