Latrodectus species are great spiders to keep. There are so many different ones. Very colorful too!

There is one true spider that seems interesting.

A francki is one true spider that I would definitely jump on if it became available. From what I've heard, you keep them like Rose hairs.

Some of the huntsman spiders are also totally awesome, known as some of the fastest arboreals ever.

I just looked up what A franki was and it looks like a badass, how is it not a tarantula? It looks a hell of a lot like one.

It's as close as you can get to being one without actually being one. Still, I wouldn't get hung up on the classifications. Do your research & if you can get one, go for it.
