    .. and dont even require live prey! this Strigamia is eating a chunk of banana. you can feed them table scraps, cat/dog food, refried beans.. if its edible they will generally accept it

    A strange order of centipedes, geophilomorpha are often specialized and generally target small fossorial prey, though others are ectoparasites on large nightcrawlers. Care must be taken to not touch your eyes after handling this order of centipedes as they secrete cyanide as a defense.
