Heya!
I have a quick wee question; I've found little white things in clumps on the sides of my GGB's enclosure. I would write them off as eggs if it wasn't for the fact that my GGB is a juvenile and they're not in an eggsac.
If someone could help me identify what I'm looking at, I'd be super...
This is P. thisbe, to be precise. it can be told apart from P. pallidolimbata by examining the wings- thisbe has a black edge on the wingtips, pallidolimbata lacks it.
Similar in appearance to velvet ants, Triscolia ardens is native to the southwest. parasitoids of scarabidae larvae- specifically phyllophaga, but later-emerging individuals may be forced to target amblynoxia or cotinis.
