Yes, I would say that is from a previous loss of a limb which is pretty common, So far in my experience of lost items - legs, pedipalps and spinnarets I have been fortunate and they have regrown the missing bit and it takes a few moults to get up to full strength again.

This morning two more moults. Tiny sling Coremiocnemis hoggi threw out a moult, and pictured a large sling Lasiodora Difficilis moulting for it’s sixth time with me.
Her flat DLS must be about 3.5 inches. She’s moulted twice with me so approaching adult size i guess. She has a hide (cork bark) but she does come in and out. But my usual view is her butt sticking out the entrance.
