Your post actually made me do a recount and the T's are actually 95 and the other's. Have multiple of the same species so bout 80 or so different species. And yes they are more addictive than any substance and far as I'm concerned a lot better for you as well...lol! There is always a new specie...
Whenever I've fed meal worms typically there is not much of anything left if the T consumed the worm. The mealworms could be molting and this is the husk's your finding. With that said, you say you smash their heads though. Are you sure the worms are completely dead??
I have no clue how old she is. Haven't done an official count in minute but. I'm thinking about 85 T's but could be a little more, a Heterapoda sp. David Bowie and a Pandipalpus Viatoris which is a large African scorpion. Working 50 plus hrs. a week my hands are full! Lol
My gal came to me as a adult. Had her for over a year. She can be a little skittish at times but is still pretty much a sweet heart! She never kicks hairs no matter how jumpy she might get. And absolutely never gets close to that water dish unlike my other T's in the same shelf. Now that I wrote...
Keep an eye on how dark your sub gets after you water. Once it begins to lighten up either overflow the dish a bit or add a little moisture to the corner to help keep your little jewel from dehydrating.
The pipette will do the trick but I would probably keep it to one or two corners. Let your little one burrow down then typically I will hydrate an opposite corner from the burrow. Just got two OBT " Mikumi" slings and still get stoked having new little ones.
Hello and welcome! I always use a water dish where feasible and drive my T's crazy by always filling....lol! With this being a little one I would recommend some slightly moist sub to start and periodically overflowing said water dish. Keep your water dish corner moist at all times. Don't want...
Chilobrachys Kaeng Kraken! Her past two molts were 6 and a quarter DLS. Molt was already dried badly and she took hold of it when trying to remove so couldn't get a measurement. But she be a good sized gal now!! Love Chilobrachys and she is my fave!
My Cyriopagopous Bach Ma normally sits outside her burrow by the water dish and has for many, many months now. Never tipped the water bowl. Today the water dish upended, burrow filled in and just looked back in he\she still going at it! Burrow back uncovered water dish flipped again. All started...
Ketchup and Spoods...yum,yum...lol! But you must cut them up after the ketchup....Right?? Keeps the urticating hairs down! I've been without sleep far too long! Forgive me!
