Jumping spider layed eggs. Can I save her?

I got a zebra jumping spider, just 3 days ago. Last night she dug a little hole and started webbing it up, today I see some egg sacs in there. I know they close themselves inside and guard the eggs until they die. I don’t want her to die. What actually kills her, does she starve to death? Is it...

    A gigas African Giant Milipede

I’ve heard coconut fibre works well, I have a tank set up and that’s what I’m using, I haven’t actually gotten a millipede yet so I don’t know how well it actually works.

    Hermit crabs

I’ve always just dumped saltwater into it and added some dry stuff so it doesn’t get water logged but your method is probably better haha

I don’t think isopoda help much with mites, you can buy predatory mites to to the job for you, they’re tiny red bugs that kill the mites and then kill each other, they work wonderfully for mites.

    Aw no problem!

    Hermit crabs

soak the substrate in salt water. They natural come from a salty environment so it’s ok, not for other creatures though. The salt keeps mold and bacteria at bay, and has even gotten rid of mites for me, but it also eliminates a clean up crew if you want or have one. It’s worked like a charm for...

    Ts with nice web displays?

Thanks, all! I’ll definitely get a GBB.

    Hermit crabs

There are supposedly captive breeders out there, but I’m very sceptical. The zoea are fully aquatic and feed on a variety of micro organisms and algae that live in the ocean, they’re very delicate and vulnerable during this stage so many die off. If doubt you could recreate the ocean with all...

    Ts with nice web displays?

I do like them, not sure if I could ever convince my mom to let me get some, but they’re pretty neat. My mom really likes the GBB, I’ll probably go with that. There’s so many other things I want, I think I’ll get an E. sp. red, a vinegaroon, and a GBB for now, but I’ll get more in the future...

Oh, a dry season? I’m getting one in October, and I thought I read all the existing care sheets, what do I need to do for this dry season?

    Leaf litter from outside?

Lookin’ to get a millipede. I’d like leaf litter. My local Exotics shop sells a little bag with barely anything in it for $20 which seems a bit overpriced so I’m wondering if I could take some from outside. I have a maple tree, a choke cherry tree, an apple tree, and some other tall tree, not...

    Hermit crabs

Hermit crabs are adorable! I have three myself, Lucia, Murdoch, and Carcinos. They’re interesting little creatures, and I’m planning a big natural Caribbean tank for them, since they’re wild caught it’s the least I could do for them. I actually wouldn’t recommend them for kids, they’re care is a...

My mom’s not a huge fan of my OBT, so no more OWs, unfortunately.

Okey dokey, by gentle I meant won’t want to kill me. My only OW is an OBT and he’s a bit freaky, if he was bigger he’d find some way to kill me haha. I’ll look into GBBs, I like their colours.
