    G Pulchripes question

It is a small deli cup. I dont believe it is too big for her, but i put a little hide in it and she cover the entrance with substrate and didn't really burrow a lot but i can't see. Maybe that was a mistake i thought she would feel more safe.

    G Pulchripes question

Hello everyone! My G Pulchripes recently passed due to a bad molt. She borrowed herself (she was a big sling, almost juvenile) and when nothing happened after a month i decided to open the borrow to see if everything was ok and i found her with all her legs stuck in the molt. I tried to release...

    Question

Pretty much same thickness, maybe the smaller one looks a little bit thicker but i think it could be because it is smaller. It looks like the same plastic. I guess i'll try to find something to use as a temporary enclosure a little bigger. Rn this one looks like 1 1/2 times the size of the T or...

    Question

I'm not really sure, i don't have any experience with bigger tarantulas or enclosures (im starting with three slings but thats it). Also i'm not sure if she needs a rehouse or not. UPDATE: Now she put the substrate outside her hide again, and she isn't going in but seems to be more relaxed. My...

    Question

Isn't a good pic but you can compare both sizes. The enclosure Is like 7 cm x 7 cm. I've already bought a bigger enclosure (20 cm x 12 cm) but i think she is still small for that one. Not so much for the size of the T but i think she might squeeze into the ventilation holes of the bigger one. I...

    Question

Hello everyone! I need some advide: Since the last molt my Grammostola pulchripes filled her hide with substrate and spend almost all day on the top of the enclosure. Is that normal? Should i let her be or do something about it? I don't want to annoy her, but i've seen her legs and fangs coming...

Thank you very much! I'll follow your advice about the H maculata. Isn't really my first T but since i own three slings from the past november rn every new T feels like my first, i don't have any experience. XD I guess i'll go with an LP and the Aivcularia =) PS: I have no idea why the...

Hello everyone! I want to begin with arboreal tarantulas and rn i can buy either an Avicularia aurantiaca or Heteroscodra maculata slings. I've found some info and videos about de H maculata but i have no idea about that Avicularia. I'm a beginner so i'm not sure about gettin an OW but that...

    Beginner

Hello and welcome! I'm also a beginner and i'm starting with a T albopilosum, a Grammostola pulchripes and a Brachypelma boehmei. I bought the slings about four months ago and they are growing very much faster than i expected for what i've read about those Ts (maybe is the temperature, here in...
