    B. Smithi molting (I guess?)

Well, it's not molting. Just give it some time to adjust and try feeding again in a couple of days. That enclosure looks like it may be large enough for a water bottle cap for a water dish; you should add one. The sling won't drown.

Psalmopoeus pulcher and Brachypelma albiceps molted today. My pulcher is looking gorgeous having finally gotten adult colors. :D

Help, my tarantula is acting wierd, she puts her ass up.

My rosie frequently does this as well. She's actually my only T that does this, but it's really nothing to be worried about. They stand on their toes while grooming and sometimes just because.

T Molting Support Group for Noobs*

Grammostola pulchra finally molted today. 2 inches in length, last molt was exactly 5 months ago, and the thing hadn't eaten for two months. I almost can't believe it actually happened. While watching the pulchra molt, I saw my Hapalopus sp. Columbia was laying down a molt mat. Exciting stuff!

    Decided on a small

Good luck, crickets don't last long at all regardless of how well they're kept. I'd imagine they'll be gone in a week. I recommend you invest in a dubia roach colony. :)

    I love molts!

Love this picture! I also love the transition between sling and adult colors. Wish that I could have seen that with my versi. :( But my P. pulcher is very close to that phase so at least I'll have something to enjoy soon. LP and B. smithi #1 are in very heavy pre-molt and B. albopilosum molted...

    I love molts!

My T. gigas and B. smithi molted a few days ago on the same day which was a nice surprise, A genic. and E. cyanognathus both molted without me knowing they were in pre-molt and last night my Cyclosternum pentalore molted. It's showing adult coloring now, but this little thing puts on little size...

    Suggestions? Buying? Pinktoes

Don't buy from BackWater Reptiles. Many people who have ordered from them have received dead on arrivals from very poor packaging and wrongly sexed spiders. Some people have said they're great..but it's really not worth the risk. PetCenterUSA or Jamie's Tarantulas would be good places to start...

    Decisions Decisions....hypothetically

I actually prefer my P. pulcher out of my three Psalmos. It's only 2 and half inches but it has the most character. Super fast, has created lots of gorgeous webbing all over the enclosure and it nearly climbs my tongs every time I feed it. Scares the you-know-what out of me. :P My irminia is...

    Thermometer and hygrometer

Assuming your Avic is an adult, or close to adult size, one of Jamie's enclosures would be perfect. They're attractive and already have plenty of cross ventilation. https://jamiestarantulas.com/adult-tarantula-cage/
