Mine has got quite the tunnel system worked out.

My little t Albopilosum turned black about a week ago & was on his back this morning. Next time I checked he had most of his old skin off. An hour later he was on his new legs & moving his old husk out of his cave. He’s currently stopped moving,but seems to be well,just tired. My first t molt.

Don’t know. Imjusbwant something mellow. I really love my b hamorii because she’s so shy.

I’ve really enjoyed watching my b hamorii do its daily thing & have been looking at a lot of different Ts with interest. One of them that caught my eye was the t albopilosus for its crazy hair. Well,I found a local dealer with them & my newest critter is waiting to be mailed to me. 1.5 inch ball...

I’m curious about bites,particularly the duration. When a t bites is it quick or do they hang on for a time?

For my new 1.5 B hamorii,would an 11x7x6 inch enclosure be too big?

Boo boo,arrived today & has already taken down three pinheads.

So I’ve read conflicting opinions on whether a heating pad is needed or not. My T will be in my bedroom which I typically keep at at 65 degrees.

I tend to go overboard with any hobby I take up. I got into fly fishing in 2008 & within six months I had five fly rods & was hitting the water two or three times a week. I’m sure there’s more than one tarantula in my future

Just ordered my first critter,a B Hamorii. It’s a sling at 1.5 inches. Should arrive next week.

So I have an Artificial Heart valve & take blood thinners daily. It would seem to me that the toxicity of old world bugs would probably Be a problem with this condition. Thoughts?
