Excited for you! Tarantulas might just become an addiction for you, be prepared ;)
I tend to go overboard with any hobby I take up. I got into fly fishing in 2008 & within six months I had five fly rods & was hitting the water two or three times a week. I’m sure there’s more than one tarantula in my future

Definitely need more substrate. You want no more than 2x the diagonal leg span from the bottom of the substrate to the top of the enclosure.
