    A. Chalcodes Feeding Question

I am still really new at T keeping. I also have a small A.Chalcodes (though not quite as small as yours). He/she is really fickle and won't eat for weeks. In violation of only keeping a prey item in the enclosure for 24 hours I have taken to leaving a very small cricket in her cage so she...

    Clay Burrows

I ordered a small roll of black vinyl static cling that sticks to glass and look nicer. When it comes in I will post up some pics. I have been told that I am just flat crazy to begin with so sitting down with some clay while watching TV isn't much of a stretch. I tend to get a bit carried away...

    Greetings from the Desert Southwest!

It took me a while to be comfortable with my T housing before I could let the cats back into the master bedroom. I had to set it up in such a way as to protect the Ts from being "played with to death". I made sure the shelves were on the small side and filled them to leave no space for a cat...

    Greetings from the Desert Southwest!

I recently got into the "Tarantula Life"... After working 70 hour work weeks for nearly 15 years I took 8 months off and finished the restoration on my '66 Buick and found a local job here in Tucson AZ (the home of Ken the Bug Guy). Being semi-retired now, only working 40 hours a week :) and...

    1st molt!

Will flash photography bother a T? Mine don't seem to react much to light, though my wife and tend to keep our room a bit on the dark side and I don't have any lights that directly shine into the enclosures other then some red LED rope lights on the shelving.
