My local pet store has a variety of animals, such as; guinea pigs, chickens, hamsters, birds, fish, koi, snakes, frogs, tortoise, reptiles, snakes, and yes tarantulas and spiders.

Found out on further research these two I got were Damon medius. The behavior, color, and various other distinguishing features really put the nail in the coffin.

Either it's serious and I have no idea what it could be. Either it's last molting went bad and resulted in this weird bulge. Or it's something else.

They love their enclosure. So awesome to handle. A bit grumpy, they are, when I go in for the initial pick-up/scoop-up. I use my pointer and middle finger to touch against the backside of their pedipalps and they seem to relax a bit, it's quite odd/intriguing/interesting.
