P sp machala a few days after molting

Here she is. Sadly I couldn't determine the sex this time. She's still acting very flights and skittish, not holding still for the camera. I didn't want to risk opening the top. Overall, her behavior is very similar to my L klugi. I can now add being skittish after molting to that catagory.
They're sexually dimorphic but that doesn't show up until much later or so I've been told. Both males and females are good looking but the males are supposed to be spectacular.

Interesting. I was looking at mature females of the species. It looks like they are almost jet black with a faint purple sheen that can also look brown.

I wonder what the temperament will do as it ages. Right now, it's behavior is very similar to my L klugi. She doesn't hide at all. I think she'll be ready to eat on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Update: She took a small earth worm with gusto!! Now she is back to her usual proportions, not to skinny at all.

Typically, after a molt with ones that are large enough and open to it, I feed an Earth worm just in case the fangs aren't quite fully hardened after a week or so.

Slings to small for one typically harden up much faster so it's not an issue. While variety is important, I consider these a supplement not a main source of food. Usually I do mealworms, roaches and crickets.
